Saturday, September 16, 2017 - From double magnum. Very dark ruby looking. Quite close for the first hour. Red currants, touch of nutmeg spice but closed on the palate as well! Another hour there was a jasmine and white flower floral note which was quite distinct and uplifting. Perhaps the big format and excellent cool storage since en primeur purchase rendered it a mere baby after 16 years. Plenty of life left in this wine. Balance was all there and decent length. A very approachable Cos!
