Monday, October 3, 2011 - a lot of good descriptive notes on this wine... the wine's aromatics take some time in the decanter to come around and become more typical... structurally the wine is not as lush and inviting as is typical of Cos lately and is more defined by firm, barely ripe tannins and moderate + acidity... balanced wine with good length, great intensity, very good complexity at this stage... wine has finesse now but will acquire more with time, a firm but fine texture, and very good expression of place. Clearly not at its peak, for that give it another 3-5 years, but drinking well now.
