Tuesday, October 2, 2012 - Similar to a Cru Beaujolais which is to be expected I suppose given that it is Gamay Noir. More in the vien of a strucured cru like Morgon or Bouilly with sufficient structure to have allowed this last a decade without issue. Nice mature red fruits on the attack but without real complexity. A light bodied red with nice balancing acidity and resolved tannins that allows it still to retain freshness. Pretty good value for the money given the cost of top artisinal Cru Beaujolais these days. A lovely aperatif wine.
