Mature and fiery smells and flavors with a still-clear presence of the cherry tart it must have been. A little harshness, similar to what you find in some older riojas, did not disappear with 16 hours' air. Vastly improved when enjoyed with a gruyere gougere. Really needs that food.
Hard to know if this is stable at second plateau (my guess) or declining. So best to drink -2019.

Similar to a Cru Beaujolais which is to be expected I suppose given that it is Gamay Noir. More in the vien of a strucured cru like Morgon or Bouilly with sufficient structure to have allowed this last a decade without issue. Nice mature red fruits on the attack but without real complexity. A light bodied red with nice balancing acidity and resolved tannins that allows it still to retain freshness. Pretty good value for the money given the cost of top artisinal Cru Beaujolais these days. A lovely aperatif wine.

dark red. nose somewhat restrained, sour cherries and a hont of earth. Palate shows mid weight , fairly tart cherries with abit of texture and some development, but probably in need of more time. Not bad, but nothing special here.

Tasted blind, and confused the table. Fairly strong tannins, some fruit and smoke. Has a good future, but a little tight right now.

Subdued nose of suggested mineral and red currant. Lean sour cranberry, medium bodied with hot acidity. Lacked finish.
