Monday, June 16, 2003 - Bright disc. Deep ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense bacon, licorice, scorched earth and roasted herb aromas. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with medium, slightly dry tannins. Similar flavors as for the nose. Medium, slightly dry finish. Very nice, especially for the price. However, this tasting showed tannins which were noticeably drier than 5/19/03.
