Saturday, June 29, 2019 - Eight hour decant. Nearly opaque ruby magenta color. Plum, boysenberry, walnut, prune, candle wax and spruce on the rich, subtly aged nose. Plush, velvety, prune-laden palate, with fine/full acidity. Full, round tannins on the medium+ finish.

This is a luxurious wine that is just starting to exhibit signs of age in the nose and palate. It’s likely just beyond its peak for my palate.
