Tuesday, May 17, 2022 - A blend of McV, Clare and Barossa shiraz, this is surprisingly elegant- even classic as the label puts it. Deeply fruited still with intense plum notes. Youthful even. Ripe but not over ripe, no dead fruit. Clear oak influence but nothing like the treatment this wine got back in the day. Pleasant intensity. Overall very enjoyable.
