Sunday, June 1, 2008 - Opened and let breathe for half an hour before drinking with dinner of BBQ chicken and Asian slaw. Wine opened up well over about two hours. Nose started with light cherries, slight spice and some alcohol and progressed over time to deeper red fruits and no alcohol. Bright red cherries and a hint of raspberry on initial tasting, with good mid-palate, and nice medium finish. Opened over time to stronger red cherry, strawberry, more spice and slight cola on the finish. A good representative of general Russian River Valley characteristics, but lacking any strong character that would distinguish it from many others.
