Friday, May 14, 2010 - Some white Burgundies gain significant weight and precision and this is one of those wines. Upon opening, a bit light and dull but with about an hour, nice yellow fruit, bright acidity and limestone. Extreme precision with meyers lemon. The wine actually improved the next evening, without losing any freshness and fruit. The fruit expression is not as sophisticated as Leflaive’s Chavalier or Batard but similar precision. Lovely wine for Burgundy and Sancerre lovers. A few hours of decanting will required. This is the best example of this wine, some a bit moer advanced.
