Saturday, June 20, 2009 - Dark purple-red color. The nose on this wine is fantastic; dark and red fruits, some sweet oak, and chocolate. It showed no signs of fading with considerable time in the glass. Everything seems to be well-balanced. The palate showed red fruit, medium acidity, and well-integrated tannins. The finish was medium-long. I believe this wine is just about peaking and should drink well for 5+ more years.
