Saturday, October 1, 2016 - From the late night sale bottle list Pearl & Ash NYC. My first experience with this wine which is actually made by a cult in CA. On the nose this is really barnyard funky but not in a bad way. On the palate you would never know this was a 32 year wine. Lots of mature structure, still tasting the dark cab sauv fruit, with lots of fine tannins and that barnyard funky earthiness. Long lasting finish. A big surprise and very enjoyable.
