Friday, July 14, 2006 - Consumed over three days with only slight degradation in quality. Color is a fairly intense golden-yellow. On the nose there is a bit of honeydew melon, a slightly candied honeysuckle scent, and it is perhaps a touch spirity. The weight is nice and sappy on the palate and there is some tingly acidity, however the fruit is quite subtle. The finish is disappointingly clipped with a somewhat harsh note that doesn't make me happy, which is why this bottle took three days to finish.
