Wednesday, January 16, 2019 - Dark ink color with mature brown meniscus. Classic earthy nose, barn hay and a touch of manure, along with very ripe grapes. Smooth mouth feel, palate is a bit bland, probably past its prime. Tannins are minimal, but very complex including leather, over ripe blackberries, minerals, and a touch of eucalyptus. Extremely long finish, mainly the ripe grapes and touch of minerals.
