92 Points

Sunday, February 9, 2014 - Monthly Tasting Group: Cote de Beaune (The Lynn on Bryant, Mpls, MN): Very dark red color. PNP, drank 1+ glass over 90 minutes. The nose starts off with some spicy wood qualities out of the gate, cedarbox, berry, black cherry, dry earth. The nose becomes very fruity and ripe with time in the glass and shows a touh of burnt rubber. The palate is deep and full bodied, very concentrated, lush fruits, berry, cherry, currants, wood, fairly well integrated tannin, and a really long finish. Shows very good promise and is quite enjoyable now with some air. 92(+)pts.
