Tuesday, March 8, 2022 - A private dinner (Restaurant Mont Blanc, Amsterdam, NL): The last time I tasted this, it was in 2017 at restaurant Paul Bocuse *** in Collonges au Mont d'Or, when Monsieur Paul was still alive. A wonderful memory. The Chartreuse was as impressive then as it is today. Silky-sweet, rich herbal expression and a smooth texture, huge alcoholic power and flavour concentration, touch of liquorice on the finish. Will clear anyone's catarrh, to quote Michael Broadbent.
