Sunday, May 16, 2021 - Popped and poured. Dark crimson color. Nose of mixed red and black fruits with some black cherry, plum, currants along with some vanilla and lightly toasted oak. Still mostly primary with maybe just a bit pencil shaving/graphite coming through. Medium acid and tannin. Very smooth mouthfeel and finish. Slightly sweet, ripe fruit but not overly alcoholic. Nicely balanced. Well made wine and quite tasty but poor QPR.
