Saturday, March 11, 2017 - Starting to show a hint of golden colour. An inviting nose of citrus (limes?), whiffs of pineapple, ripe rockmelon and even a touch of grassiness. On the palate it is textural and 'mouth filling', driven by fresh melons, with good citrus acidity. Fine grain french oak completes the palate; rounding and filling out the finish, giving it a mild spice and nuttiness. Overall a very nice wine. I reckon I will wait 2-3 years before drinking my last bottle.
