Monday, September 17, 2012 - La Commanderie de Bordeaux à Vancouver - 2002 Horizontal (Blue Water Cafe): Medium red. Nose with closed on this at first but did start to (slightly) open up after some time and heavy swirling. Silky smooth entry with grippy tannins and a dry and acidic finish. This is definitely more forward than the Poyferre. I found this almost to be too round/soft for my liking. A nice wine but seems a little awkward right now; perhaps a few more years will sort things out. Very good. 88+
