Friday, May 20, 2016 - Color: golden yellow. Nose: quite refined. Taste: fine English licorice, fine fruit. Nice, refined acidity, not to sweet. This wine, though lacking some more complexity, is a slender, refined pinot gris, that was quite delicious with stewed eel. Unlike some other alsatian pinot gris not a dessert wine. 88.
