Aromas of flowers and stone fruit. Nectarine and peach on the palette. Honeyed texture, viscous and mouth-coating. Acid hits mid-palette and keeps the wine fresh and the finish long. Great with lightly spicy food.

2nd of 2 I bought and slightly better than the first. Has developed really nicely. Medium body, round texture, pretty (though subtle) aromas of flowers, peach and melon. Similar flavors on palate with a sweet herbal element and hints of dill pickle and orange. Long, bright, balanced finish. Paired well with a Thai chicken basil dish.

Color: (a bit golden) yellow. Not much of a nose. In the taste apple with a subtle hint of pineapple, English licorice and a good acidity. Nicely balanced. Matched the mackerel with compote of plums nicely. 87(-88).

Medium plus body. Notes of apricot and peach, asian pear, honey, mushroom, and tree sap (first time I've used that descriptor!). Entry is round, then a bit of acid kicks in mid-palate.

Color: golden yellow. Nose: quite refined. Taste: fine English licorice, fine fruit. Nice, refined acidity, not to sweet. This wine, though lacking some more complexity, is a slender, refined pinot gris, that was quite delicious with stewed eel. Unlike some other alsatian pinot gris not a dessert wine. 88.

A nice Alsace Pinot Gris at a good QPR. Nose has nice peach, Meyer lemon, white pepper, and perfumed talcum powder. Body and acidity are both medium [+] although the acidity can get lost in the powerful fruit at least on the attack. Palate adds tropical fruit notes, apricot, and more ripe peach to the mix. Finish is pleasantly long and driven by that nice acidity. The balance on this wine is impressive. Only downside is a bit of lack of complexity when compared to more prestigious Alsace PGs.
