Monday, February 27, 2023 - Volnay vs Pommard: A divisive wine. Some liked the supposed funk on the nose but to me it was unintegrated oak, even though the nose admittedly wasn't the cleanest. Quite a dark wine to the point of being too ripe and heavily extracted. Guessed this was a Bouchard Caillerets.
