Saturday, January 20, 2007 - The color is a brilliant, dark ruby red. The nose has moderate intensity, is complex and interesting. I pick up hints of black cherry, raspberry, leather, and black berry. The palate is medium weight and well structured. The tannins are smooth and the acidity is lively. The finish is spicy with some garrigue. Seamless and smooth. Long, clean, and persistent. Maybe it is the food or company but I am really digging this wine. 50 + 5 + 13 + 18 + 9
