Friday, March 8, 2024 - It has been almost two years since I last tried a bottle. I opened the bottle, let it slow ox for two hours. The nose was dark floral. The palate was dark plums, currents, mixed berries and tobacco which took front stage on the moderately long finish. Served with a grilled steak for my wife and baked pork chops for me. A really enjoyable wine but unfortunately my last bottle of this vintage.
