Sunday, July 23, 2023 - 3 months ago I had a fantastic H-M from outstanding 1995 vintage. 2015 is also outstanding vintage, but of course the wine is much younger. Smell - a lot of oak, not enough B+R fruits ( not a good start). What else? Leather and earth. Well, let's see the taste. And the winner is...the taste! Fantastic mixture of black coffee, black chocolate, plum, cocoa, even strawberry ( what the hell 🙂), oak is here too, but everything is 'covered' with a milky texture. 8 years old wine with vivid, but nice acidity and tannins.
Long finish with cocoa, spice, red cherry, grippy tannins
