Community Tasting Note

Thursday, December 7, 2023 - One hour decant. Very very deep, intense brick red magenta color. Plum, dark raspberry, nutty mushroom, and subtle soil notes. Smooth, dry palate, with fine acidity. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.

This has impressive richness. Enjoyed this as part of a weekend in NYC that was supposed to have happened 3.5 years ago as part of my 25th anniversary. Paired well with our French-themed dishes at Nice Matin. The “makeup trip” is off to a good start.
