Monday, June 5, 2017 - A blend of 50% Loureiro, 40% Arinto and 10% Trajadura, 100% destemmed, fermented in stainless steel, 10.5% ABV. Screwcap. There is an unusual amount of carbon dioxide in this bottle, it feels like a gently sparkling wine in the glass - even more so than e.g. a Txacolí. However this may be, it is a fresh and bright Vinho Verde, light and with a lovely acidic kick, aromas of flowers, aromatic green herbs and tart citrus, rounded off nicely by some residual sugar (6 gr/l), good length. Direct and for drinking now.
