Saturday, March 23, 2013 - Very dark red/purple color. Pnp and Vinturied into glasses. Drank 2 glasses over 2.5hrs. Powerful rich nose of cassis, mulberry, blackberry, spice, tobacco, licorice. The palate shows full body, deeply concentrated black fruits of cassis, blackberry, and black cherry with ample amounts of licorice and tobacco, velvety on the palate with silky tannins and good length. There is some spice on the finish and just a hint of alcohol. Excellent and in a good place. 93+ to 94pts.
