Thursday, August 4, 2022 - Popped and poured. Quite light in color, light red ruby with more than a hint of orange. After half an hour, this has began to open nicely. Fine balance between fruit and acid. Nose combines lovely soil and cherry fruit; really married together rather nicely. Has a real presence in the mouth, with dark red fruit and earth that once again are really impressive. I'm really liking this style, as it seems to get better and better with each sip. Glad I opened this when I did as it is very nice, but seems to have the stuff to last at least several more years without seeing any decline. Pretty stuff. 4-12-17-9: 92/100.
