Wednesday, October 21, 2015 - White wine of the evening. Really impressive Bienvenues-Bâtard by Pernot. Lovely nose, ripe peaches, apple, almost exotic. Flint, mineral, honey, almond, sweet spice. Very clean and pure fruit on the palate, silky texture and a wonderful mineral finish which lasts for a very very long time. Wow!
