Sunday, June 25, 2023 - My last bottle unfortunately. Pnp with Sushi at home. My experience with Latour-Giraud has been mixed as I have found some of their wines (particularly their top Meursault cuvees) over-oaked. Everything is right here tough. Still a pale yellow in the glass. Beautiful balance of acidity and a touch of sweetness with the white fruit. This is precise and I really appreciate the 2014s as the last cooler and more "classic" white Burgundy vintage (I thought the 2017s would follow in the same vein but what I had so far was mostly broad shouldered and bold). Beautiful Meursault and a pity I was not able to get more of it back then...
