My last bottle unfortunately. Pnp with Sushi at home. My experience with Latour-Giraud has been mixed as I have found some of their wines (particularly their top Meursault cuvees) over-oaked. Everything is right here tough. Still a pale yellow in the glass. Beautiful balance of acidity and a touch of sweetness with the white fruit. This is precise and I really appreciate the 2014s as the last cooler and more "classic" white Burgundy vintage (I thought the 2017s would follow in the same vein but what I had so far was mostly broad shouldered and bold). Beautiful Meursault and a pity I was not able to get more of it back then...

Did not realize I had the last bottle only 6 months ago. Again a stunning and wonderfully balanced Meursault from the great 2014 vintage. Buy if you can still find. Consistent 94 points.

Pnp at home with mentaiko pasta, after a 2007 Studach Chardonnay was unfortunately clearly past. Still a very pale yellow in the glass. This is superb and by far the best Meursault I have had from Latour Giraud. A touch of match sticks on the nose, wonderfully fresh on the palate, again this touch of sweetness like the recent 2017 Genevrieres I tried but here it’s perfectly integrated and matched by acidity, very little oak and very long finish. Speaks for the superb 2014 white Burgundy vintage but also a really great wine by Jean Pierre Latour! Chapeau!
