Friday, April 9, 2010 - 90% Malbec, 5% Merlot, 5% Tannat. This is all in oak. 1/3 new, then 1/3 2nd pass, 1/3 3rd pass.

More ripe fruit to this than the Heritage. Also darker and far more structured. The three parts of the Chateau's vineyard are on the highest terrace within the region of Cahors, which is supposedly the best in the appllation. The vines are 20 to 50 years old in this bottle.
