Saturday, June 25, 2016 - Elegance des Volnay BYO Dinner (Domaine de la Pousse d'Or - Volnay): Quite a novelty. Dark color, like old Sauternes. The goal was to pop and pour, but the cork fell into the bottle, so the decision was made to decant. I tasted this 6-7 minutes later at which point it had musty aromas and moderately interesting caramelized flavors. Five minutes later it was musty and vinegar-esque.
