Wednesday, August 18, 2010 - Deep red to purple in colour there is pronounced cassis on the nose, the palate has well defined dark fruits, with rich plum and blackberry the most prominent, there is cedar and fine but firm tannins towards the back palate and the finish shows a hint of eucalyptus and considerable length. This is a wine to put in the cellar for a number of years, but is enjoyable now
