Friday, April 29, 2022 - First bottle of vin jaune; unsure at this point if this bottle may be off; the nose was very savory with sauteed mushroom and a meaty almost feral note; there was some underlying nuttiness and maybe citrus, but hard to get past the other smells; the palate was flat and somewhat disjointed. Left open and will revisit.
