Sunday, February 9, 2014 - The 2nd of 3 bottles. We drank the first bottle too soon after opening it, and even after a few hours it was still closed. As others have noted, this 15 year old still takes at least 4 hours to open up and reveal its beauty. Once it does, it has a rich, heady, perfumed nose of cherry, strawberry and cranberry, earth and leather. Ruby coloured with slight orange/brown bricking. Superb depth of flavour, and a loooong tangy, finish. It gets in your pores and lingers on your senses for ages. Be patient with this, and it's a real winner.
