Saturday, October 16, 2021 - Upon first opening and pouring significant bricking was noted. Drank over 6 hours from the bottle. Nose initially was very tertiary was earthy and meaty with little fruit over time became funky then woody with finally some fruit coming out in the last two hours with cranberry and raspberry complimented by some floral notes. Tastes were largely the same not very acidic, not tannic, moderate finish. Thought about dumping half way through but glad I didn’t, bottle was clearly prematurely oxidized (cork looked pristine) but still provided some pleasure after being open for a few hours. Monopole
