Monday, April 18, 2016 - K. Lazaridis Syrah Vertical Tasting (Oinoscent): Very ripe to overripe nose, fig, prune, coffee and fruit in alcohol, chocolate notes with a few bits of red fruit in the back. In the palate, the wine feels very round, a lot of balsamic notes, melted tannins, short finish. The wine’s going downhill now, lost structure, intensity, complexity.
