Saturday, April 17, 2021 - Almond or marzipan first on the nose, with the oaky vanilla next and some burnt butter. On the palette some great acidity, with the oak at the forefront, then some herbal notes, with some citrus and under ripe tree fruit. However, when it warmed up a little in the glass it opened up sensationally, with great balance between the oak and brilliant peach and apricot flavours. I recommend taking this out of the fridge and maybe a quick double decant before drinking to bring out the fruit. It came highly recommended and lived up to it.
