Saturday, February 16, 2008 - IWFSC Cellar Inventory (Wheeling): I was really surprised by how much I liked this wine - its not a charicture of wine as so many modern zins tend to be, it's the real deal. This wine should age beautifully. Opaque purple black color. Fantastic nose of sweet black fruit, brown sugar, floral, and blackberries. Wow, surprisingly balanced rich black spicy fruit with chocolate notes. Wonderful zin.
