Friday, June 3, 2022 - Decanted for 30 minutes but may benefit from an additional 15-20 minutes as the wine continued to open in the glass. The color was a pale gold. Aromas of wet stone, honeysuckle, and lemon. The medium to plus bodied palate is smooth with white fruit (pear and melon), lemon, minerality and some spice. The acidity is well integrated making the wine very smooth and drinking very well. This wine is, as stated on the back label, "a fruity, non-oaky, non-Malolactic Chardonnay that is widely recognized as a great food wine" and should hold for several years.
