Friday, April 5, 2024 - Another Wine gathering at RJ’s; 4/4/2024-4/7/2024 (Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina): Beautiful mature nose displaying ripe yellow fruit, baked apple, tarte tartin, burnt sugar, brioche, lanoline, sweet spices and limestone. Very good concentration, generous mature yellow fruit, fine but medium to shy mousse, decadent and sweet, bright acidity, fine mineral, and a medium to long ripe yellow fruit driven finish with smoke at the end. This is a fully mature example. The mousse is surprisingly shy.
