Friday, September 4, 2020 - A well made wine. Quite a savoury wine and needs time to open up. The evolution over a 4 hour period was striking. Best to decant this wine 4 - 5 hours before consumption. Dark plum, smoky and very savoury nose, followed by a well balanced body dressed with cassis, blueberry and earthy / savoury notes. Fruit was still present and alive and tannin was quite fine. Drink now or 7+ years.
