Thursday, December 29, 2011 - Advanced appearance - medium gold. Nose shows ripe pear fruit, butter, hint of sesame seed. Palate is medium/full bodied, rounded and soft, with ripe pear fruit, butter, hint of sesame seed but oak is very well integrated, quite full and generous with moderate acidity and hints of honey on the good length finish. A very nice drink but somewhat (not to say worryingly) advanced.
