Saturday, March 4, 2017 - Popped and poured. Dark ruby color. Nose of black cherry, black raspberry, sweet spices and a touch of toasty oak. Similar flavors on the palate with a nice mix of dark berry fruit, spice and oak. Medium+ acid, medium to medium+ tannin and body. Juicy on the palate but with more of a round, full bodied finish. I really dug this wine and think it would have been even better with food.
