  Dark ruby red color. Mouth watering dark fruit and some pepper. Notable cherries and black berries. Medium body. Medium finish. Nice acidity and balance. Improved complexity on second day.

  Popped and poured. Dark ruby color. Nose of black cherry, black raspberry, sweet spices and a touch of toasty oak. Similar flavors on the palate with a nice mix of dark berry fruit, spice and oak. Medium+ acid, medium to medium+ tannin and body. Juicy on the palate but with more of a round, full bodied finish. I really dug this wine and think it would have been even better with food.
