Saturday, July 16, 2022 - I was in the mood for a Tablas red and so drank this on its own across several nights and it did not disappoint. Very Good++. Oddly, I got a faint must on the nose most of the time while the other taster never did, which is strange. In any case, it wasn't off-putting. Lovely wine, cruising along, no hurry as this gains more depth and character with air, but doesn't really need much either. Grenache in the barely in the lead vs. Syrah at 39% vs. 35%. I think the Grenache is definitely the most expressive here, probably getting a profile assist from the 16% Counoise. (10% Mourvedre)

14.5% abv - shows no heat, great restraint and balance.
