Sunday, November 19, 2006 - Made from 100% Tempranillo (grown by contractors) this wine was aged in oak for 12 months. Light red in colour, this wine had a bit of a dodgy smell on the nose. The palate showed some fruitiness and lots of oak. I think the bottle I tasted was defective, so probably not representative as I found most of LAN's wine very good.

Tasted in the Grand Tasting at the 10th Decanter Fine Wine Encounter, Landmark Hotel, London.
