Sunday, May 19, 2019 - Dark red with a purplish hue, decanted for an hour and poured from decanter through evening. Nose of blueberry pie, eucalyptus, bay leaf, rosemary, burnt but sweet cherry. Palate rich, thick and strong. Blood, heavy syrupy blackberry, reduced plum sauce and raspberry. It's heavy. Needs five years at least to let the fruits mellow out and ripen.

87+, this will have a higher score in future, but right now it wasn't that approachable.
