Saturday, November 26, 2022 - Greater Spotted Beaunes - Two 1999 1er Crus from each main commune in the Cotes de Beaune.. (David P's): Wow. I adore this. Such a complete wine, it has everything in perfect harmony. Nose has charming red fruited character with some cherry stone structure. There is something sweet and exotic like a few drops of fresh pineapple juice added with a pipette. Some cashew / peanut shell too on the palate. Broad palate with fully resolved tannins and lovely freshness.
